Career
Alain has a PhD in bioinformatics from Manchester University
(2009). His PhD research consisted of the analysis of low-complexity
regions in protein sequences, and how these regions could influence protein interactions.
He is currently at SWITCH and IRIDIA within the In Silico project. Alain is involved in building software infrastructure for large-scale public-domain genomic data sets retrieval, meta-data standardisation, and pre-processing for data mining applications.
